Beloved Grandmother

Today is the one-year anniversary of my

one-in-a-million nanny going home to be with the Lord.

It is a time of great rejoicing and great saddness for our family.

Rejoicing knowing she is with the Lord,

but sad that she is not home with us.

The Christmas season was always her favorite time of year

and she always made it brighter

and more special for all of her loved ones.

She could do that.

Turn the ordinary into something spectacular ~

the mundane into magnificence.
