Time Of Prayer

 Dearest Blogging Friends,
At this time I am at my mother's bedside in the hospital.
It has almost been a week.  My whole family is here believing for a miracle.
My mom has been very ill and we are all standing full of faith for her recovery.
~*~
In Christ all the treasures of wisdom
and knowledge are safely kept.
Colossians 2:3
We are praying specifically that every root of sickness
will be revealed and that the evidence of her healing will come quickly!
~*~
May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God
and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting
consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts
and establish you in every good word and work.
II Thessalonians 2:16-17
I say this because I know what I am planning for you, says the Lord.
I have good plans for you, not plans hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future.
Jeremiah 29:11
~*~
The future for my mom is in the palm of God's hand.  He loves her an our family
and only goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives!
We know that all things work together for good to those who
love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28
~*~
This is our testimony!  No matter what it seems to be we know that our God is good
all the time - He is faithful and just - He is a promise maker and a promise keeper!

I do not know when I will be back to blogging - but I will be visiting all my favorite sites
and leaving comments whenever I get some moments to do so.
Please keep us in your prayers.

Love,
Concetta

  2. Connie,
I had no idea your mom was sick. Please know that I am praying for her as well as for you. It is time that you reap what you sow, and you sowed prayer, friendship, love, and so much more into my life when my dad was ill. I will give that back to you. I love you, my friend...

  7. Dear Concetta,
I truly know how hard things are right now. My Mom passed away almost three years ago, and she is in my heart every day. I love the Jeremiah quote, and I have had the same quote in my house for many years. Your photos of the flowers are lovely. I am thinking about you today, and sending love your way.

  8. Hello Concetta...I've been missing you and decided to look up your blog and here I find this post. I'm so sorry. I will NOW be praying for you continually..
I know that God put you on my heart yesterday so I've actually been praying since then. May you and your family rest in the knowledge that our Lord is Sovereign in ALL things and that His Grace is truly sufficient at all times.
May His love and mercy surround you and your family and may His healing be upon you.
    Much love and gentle hugs,
    Doni

  9. I'm so sorry, Connie. Sending thoughts and prayers for you and your entire family. I saw the beautiful memorial tribute video for your mom on Facebook (I'm a newbie there so I'm not sure my comment was posted properly.) Please know I will continue to think and pray for you. I'm sending you hugs and love.

The Kitchenettes ~ A Hospitality Club

Romans 12:13
Pursue the practice of hospitality.

The Kitchenettes is all about teaching and mentoring young girls in the art of hospitality. It is so much more than cooking or doing domestic tasks ~ hospitality is the very heart of God ~ a demonstration of pouring His love onto others. This group of young girls are learning the very nature and character of God as they serve people and sharpen their skills in homemaking.
