Layered Spinach & Cheese Torta

Layered Spinach & Cheese Torta

This is one of my favorite appetizers to serve and share.
The flavors all marry together beautifully!
Always the stunning presentation with the WOW Factor!

Layered Spinach & Cheese Torta
~*~
1st Layer
2 pkg. cream cheese, soft
3 scallions, green portion cut into thin rings
1 t lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2 t garlic salt
***
2nd Layer
1 pkg. frozen spinach, thaw & squeeze dry
2 scallions, white part chopped fine
1/2 c Parmesan cheese, grated
***
3rd Layer
2 pkg. cream cheese, soft
1 c sharp Cheddar, shredded
4 oz. jar pimentos, drained
~*~
Line a large bowl, loaf pan or any vessel of your choosing with plastic wrap.
Make sure you have the plastic wrap long enough to fold over and cover top.
Spread first layer into pan - smooth the top.
Add spinach layer evenly over cheese.
Spoon on 3rd layer and spread until smooth.
Wrap excess plastic on top of layers and add one more sheet to seal well.
Chill overnight.  Invert torta onto serving platter.
Garnish with fresh parsley and a tomato rose.
Serve with toasted baguettes, crackers or fresh veggies!
Enjoy!
